The Land Warfare course at Asymmetric Solutions is designed to teach students the essential tactics and techniques required for navigating both open and urban environments. This course focuses on the development of small unit tactics, team movements, and situational awareness, giving students the tools they need to effectively secure and navigate various terrain in high-pressure situations.

The Land Warfare course combines classroom learning with practical application. Throughout the 8-hour course, students will focus on movement techniques in both environments, the importance of verbal and hand signal communication, and the fundamentals of bounding to ensure safety and coordination in mission-critical situations. Though this is primarily a non-shooting course, live-fire exercises may be incorporated based on the instructor’s discretion.

Bounding, or the coordinated movement of a team, is essential for maintaining safety while advancing or retreating. This course will teach the fundamentals of bounding techniques for both offensive and defensive maneuvers.

Basic Small Unit Tactics

Verbal and Hand Signal Communication

What to Expect

Students are encouraged to bring both a carbine and handgun for training, although the course is primarily non-shooting. Live-fire exercises will be at the instructor’s discretion and based on training needs. Throughout the day, you will participate in drills that simulate real-world scenarios, testing and improving your tactical abilities under various conditions.
