This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect themselves in situations requiring physical force. All skills taught, both defensive and offensive, are done so with the sole intent of breaking contact and avoiding a potentially worse situation. Students will not receive the typical “pressure points” or “grab my wrist here” techniques often associated with hand to hand fighting but, rather, techniques designed to deliver immediate results. All techniques are simple and very effective. Student safety is always our top priority; however, students must be aware this is a physical course with all risks associated with hand to hand training.
