High-Threat Executive Protection

Law Enforcement are often called upon to provide support services, both direct and indirect, to security details visiting their respective areas. Often these same officers are sought after to provide additional security services that require integration with existing security teams and are expected to have the basic knowledge associated with operating as a member of a professional security detail. While many officers possess the necessary individual skills, many have never received formal training on conducting Executive Protection operations.

This 5-day, 40-hour course covers the basic aspects of executive protection. Students will learn concepts and techniques associated with operating as part of a high-threat security detail as well as a traditional executive protection team. This course covers proper, effective, professional tradecraft with an emphasis on effective, interpersonal communication skills over force. By the end of the course attendees will have the knowledge and skillset to successfully operate within a professional executive protection team.
