• Fundamentals of Defensive Shooting:
  Learn the proper stance, grip, and combat distance marksmanship needed to engage threats effectively.
• Drawing from a Holster:
  Master drawing your handgun quickly and safely from a concealed carry holster.
• Engaging Multiple Targets:
  Develop the ability to quickly engage multiple threats with accurate, decisive shots.
• Target Discrimination:
  Understand when to engage or not engage targets in self-defense situations through shoot or no-shoot scenarios.
• Basic Use of Cover and Concealment:
  Learn how to utilize cover in different environments to keep yourself protected.
• Real-World Defensive Scenarios:
  Simulate realistic self-defense situations to enhance your decision-making under pressure.

Course Structure: 2 Days of Training

Day 1:

• Hands-on range training at our Farmington, MO Midwest Special Warfare Center.
• Focus on live-fire training and practicing the fundamental techniques of self-defense.

Day 2:

• Classroom lecture in Belleville, IL covering the required state-mandated information for applying for your concealed carry permit.
• Topics include firearm safety, laws, and regulations.

Course Prerequisites

This course is suitable for both beginning shooters and experienced gun owners. No previous experience is required to enroll, but the course is also structured to meet the needs of experienced shooters. Our goal is to ensure that all participants leave with the knowledge and confidence they need to carry a firearm responsibly.
