Our staff is comprised of combat decorated, highly reputable members of various Special Operations units, elite government agencies, and seasoned Special Operations Law Enforcement Officers who have performed countless operations nationally and internationally around the globe. These units include the Army Green Berets, DELTA Force, DEVGRU, MARSOC Raiders, Force Recon, Navy SEALS, CIA, DOS and SWAT. Collectively, this staff has executed hundreds of combat deployments around the globe and supported countless stateside operations in support of Law Enforcement and Government Agencies nationwide.

Keith W.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Keith is a former Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Raider and Reconnaissance Marine, brings extensive operational experience from deployments in support of missions like Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan (OEF-A), Operation Enduring Freedom Philippines (OEF-P), and SOUTHCOM initiatives.

Keith holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He's a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Syracuse University, Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt, and is a licensed EMT-B. Additionally, his expertise brings a strong background in shooting, tactics, FID training, breaching, mobility, and proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese.

Keith's diverse skill set and dedication to excellence make him an invaluable CEO of our team, bringing both leadership and expertise to Asymmetric Solutions.

Operational Staff

Our senior operational staff members play dual roles as primary instructors for all training courses and as project managers or operational staff for private security or research and development projects alongside company directors. This exceptional team boasts a collective experience of over 500 combat deployments. Among them are graduates of prestigious institutions such as the US Naval Academy, top-tier law and business schools, and highly ranked medical schools. In addition to these seasoned professionals, Asymmetric Solutions also employs a carefully selected group of part-time contractors. These individuals, who are combat-decorated veterans of US and Coalition Special Operations Units, as well as full-time members of SWAT or PSD teams, undergo thorough vetting processes to become members of our TEAM.

  • Shannon B.

    Vice President Programs Division

    To Include Research & Development, Test & Evaluation

    Shannon's career originated in the United States Marine Corps within the Reconnaissance community. Transitioning from Recon, he assumed roles in law enforcement, notably as a SWAT Team Leader, and a POST-certified firearms instructor.

    With two decades of combined public and private sector experience, Shannon has excelled as both a Program Manager (PM) and an executive leader. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), he served as the Supervising Assistant Program Manager (S-APM), supporting the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG).

    In this capacity, Shannon effectively managed an active appropriations budget of approximately $500M. His responsibilities included overseeing a diverse portfolio covering SOF combat materiel requirements such as Maritime and Ground Mobility Platforms, Small Arms Weapons and Ammunitions, Scalable Effects, Loitering Munitions, ISR Platforms, Breaching (Explosive & Mechanical), EOD, and Electronic Initiation Systems. Notably, Shannon led projects including the USSOCOM Sniper Program at NSWC Crane and served as a lead instructor for the USSOCOM Sniper Weapons Armorers Course.

    Recognized as a Test and Evaluation expert in Small Arms Weapons and Ammunitions, Shannon has shared his expertise as a guest speaker at the International Sniper Symposium.

  • Curt B.

    Vice President of Security Operations

    Curt, a seasoned veteran with 22 years of service, has a diverse background spanning a major metropolitan police department and a Federal Law Enforcement Agency/Intelligence community. Throughout his career, he specialized in Intelligence-based policing, focusing on human intelligence analysis and conducting covert/clandestine operations. With experience in surveillance and small unit tactics, both as an officer and a supervisor, Curt is SWAT/TCCC certified and highly proficient in urban surveillance operations and methodologies. His real-world encounters enrich the training arena.

  • Lance C.

    Senior Project Manager/Director of White Cell Operations

    Lance is a seasoned veteran with 20 years of service in a major metropolitan police department, primarily specializing in covert operations units and SWAT Teams. For a decade, he served as a Team Leader and Sniper Team Leader, overseeing a multitude of SWAT direct action, interdiction, and surveillance operations.

    Lance is responsible for managing and directing tactical exercise control for comprehensive law enforcement and military training across our three Training Centers and various off-site locations. Duties include logistics coordination, personnel, and equipment movement, organizing maritime operations, overseeing role players, preparing tactical instructors, and collaborating with the scenario development team.

  • Miguel G. (Migs)

    Director of Operations - New Mexico Dark Horse Training Facility

    Migs, a retired United States Marine Raider, brings over 20 years of operational expertise to his role. His experience encompasses combat deployments and special operations assignments in sensitive environments.

    As a critical skills operator, Migs excels in leading, training, coaching, and mentoring operational teams. His diverse skill set includes surveillance and target acquisition, long-range precision marksmanship, special activities, special reconnaissance, direct action, shooting and tactics, FID training, breaching, mobility, and horsemanship.

    Migs is a graduate of the Brazilian Jungle Commando Course (CIGS), proficient in Brazilian Portuguese, and fluent in Spanish.

  • Pete M.

    Operational Staff

    Pete brings 22 years of Marine Corps experience to his role, with 16 years dedicated to Reconnaissance/Force Reconnaissance and Scout Sniper duties. He has completed multiple deployments to locations worldwide, including Kosovo/Macedonia, Iraq, Southeast Asia, Africa, and others.

    During his service, Pete also served as an instructor in Reconnaissance, Water Survival, and Small Arms Marksmanship. His expertise spans Reconnaissance and Surveillance, Scout Sniper Operations, Close Quarters Battle, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Military Free-fall, Combatant Dive, Navigation, Survival, and Emergency Pre-Hospital care.

    Pete holds instructor certifications in the Special Operation Combatives Program (SOC-P) and has achieved multiple black belts in various martial disciplines.

  • Erik P.

    Vice President of Law Enforcement Operations

    Erik is a seasoned professional with extensive military and law enforcement experience. As a former Special Forces Operator and Operational Detachment Alpha Team Sergeant, Erik conducted operational deployments across various regions and collaborated on joint training exercises worldwide. He served with distinction in combat operations such as Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Uphold Democracy (OUD), among others. With expertise in shooting, tactics, training, and foreign languages, Erik brings a diverse skill set to his role.

    After his military service, he enjoyed a successful 15-year career in Federal Law Enforcement with specialized teams in the Drug Enforcement Administration (FAST), Border Patrol (BORTAC), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (FOP). Erik is fluent in French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, holds an EMT-B license, and has a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management.

    Security Professional

    Sam brings a wealth of experience from his fifteen-year tenure in the Secret Service. His expertise spans high, mid, and low-level protective operations conducted nationwide and across twenty-five foreign countries. With a background in investigations, he has dedicated time to the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

    As a federally accredited instructor, Sam imparts knowledge in protective operations, firearms, vulnerability assessment, and surveillance. He has collaborated closely with various government agencies, including the Secret Service counter-sniper program and the National Threat Assessment Center. Additionally, Sam has delivered firearms and dignitary protective training to multiple organizations.

  • Keith T.

    Facilities Director & Co. Logistician - MO, NM, FL

    Keith, a 26-year veteran of the US Army, began his service in the infantry, serving as a gunner and team leader for 7 years. Later, he transitioned into logistics, where he dedicated the remainder of his career. In this role, Keith provided comprehensive logistical support, ranging from small unit-level to Battalion/Task Force size elements.

    Regarded as a subject matter expert, Keith possesses extensive knowledge in DOD supply chains, acquisitions, supply chain management, and maintenance of equipment and supplies on a large scale. His operational deployments include service in Eastern Europe and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Joe brings over two decades of military experience to our team, having served for 20 years in the Marine Corps, with 12 years dedicated to the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) as a Marine Raider. With an impressive track record, he has completed 10 operational deployments to various regions including Iraq, Afghanistan, and other global locations.

    Joe's expertise lies in Direct Action, Hand-to-Hand combat, Jump/Dive Operations, and Special Activities, making him a valuable asset with invaluable subject matter knowledge."

Associate Staff

Our Associate Staff Members fulfill roles as Assistant Instructors in both Professional and Civilian Courses. Additionally, they actively contribute as Operational Staff for Private Security endeavors and Research and Development Projects.

  • Nate B.

    Nate brings 17 years of experience from a major metropolitan Police Department, with a focus on special operations and clandestine services for 14 of those years. He holds qualifications in SWAT operations and is certified as a post-blast and explosive technician.

  • Rhyan B.

    Rhyan is a former Force Reconnaissance Marine with operational experience primarily in the Asian Pacific region. He holds qualifications in Jump/Dive and VBSS (Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure) and is highly skilled in Small Unit Tactics and Firearms training.

  • Dave S.

    Tactical Videographer

    For four decades, Dave has been a prominent figure in television, contributing his talents to ABC, NBC, and FOX stations. A recipient of both Emmy and Peabody awards, he is celebrated as a skilled videographer, editor, and drone pilot. Dave's extensive portfolio includes work aboard US aircraft carriers Theodore Roosevelt and Harry S Truman. He has also produced impactful Military and Law Enforcement training and After Action Review (AAR) videos for numerous SOCOM and Law Enforcement Special Tactics units nationwide.

  • Hance W.

    Hance is a former Reconnaissance Marine and Army Special Forces Medic with deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan and NATO Special Operations in Eastern Europe. He holds expertise as a USMC Scout Sniper, Combat Diver, Special Forces Dive Medical Tech, and is fluent in Russian.

    Currently pursuing a Medical Doctorate (MD) at SLU School of Medicine, he plans to specialize in cardiothoracic surgery. His skills include unconventional/austere medicine, medical planning, and long-range marksmanship.

  • Nancy J.

    Executive Assistant to the CEO

    With 28 years of experience as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant, Nancy embarked on her career at a Fortune 500 company before transitioning to the small business sector and to Asymmetric Solutions. Her professional expertise spans executive-level support, accounting support, valuable customer service coordination, and successful event organization.

  • LaRayne O.

    Vice President of Government Business/Contracts

    LaRayne offers over thirty years of extensive experience in government contracting, with a significant portion of her career spanning twenty years at Northrup Grumman IT Sector. During her tenure, she played a vital role in supporting our warfighters, operating at the intersection of program execution and corporate business/finance. Transitioning to the small business sector, LaRayne assumed director-level positions, where she served as the Director of Finance Management and the Director of Portfolio Management for Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned enterprises. Her diverse expertise encompasses program management, contracts, subcontracts, finance, pricing, and business development.

Medical Staff

  • Dr. Jeff K.

    Dr. Jeff, our Medical Director at Asymmetric Solutions, brings a wealth of experience to the role. With a background as a former Navy Physician, Cardiac Anesthesiologist, and Emergency Medicine Specialist, he has served within multiple Naval Special Warfare Commands and holds expertise in Dive Medicine. A graduate of the Harvard Medical School program, Dr. Jeff has also completed numerous rigorous field and exigent circumstance medicine courses. This diverse background uniquely positions him to develop and oversee our facility's medical response and special operations medical education programs.

  • Dr. Tim K.

    Dr. Tim is an Emergency Medicine Specialist and Cardiologist. Tim has substantial training in dive and high-altitude physiology and is an accomplished pilot.

  • Dr. Chris S.

    Dr. Chris is a former USAF Physician and accomplished outdoorsman and parachutist.

  • Dr. Guy V.

    Colonel Guy is a USAF Physician with substantial expertise in survival and austere environments. Before becoming an Air Force Officer, Guy was an enlisted Navy Combat Rescue Swimmer.
